Happy Tracker

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective 5 September 2026 · Happycoders Private Limited

This policy explains when a Happy Tracker payment is refunded and how a subscription is cancelled. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions. All payments are processed in Indian Rupees through our payment partner.

Our promise

1. Try it before you pay anything

Happy Tracker has a free plan for up to five users. It is not a countdown trial that expires and locks your data — it is a real plan you can stay on. Time tracking, timesheets, the project board and the reports are all included, and no card is asked for at any point.

We would genuinely rather you ran your team on it for a fortnight than paid for something that turned out not to fit.

2. No automatic renewal, ever

A paid plan is a single payment covering twelve months, per user. It does not renew by itself, and we do not keep your card on file for future charges. When a term ends, the workspace returns to the free plan until somebody chooses to buy again.

This is deliberate. A subscription that quietly re-charges a year later is not a subscription anybody agreed to.

3. Seven days to change your mind

If you are not happy with Happy Tracker, tell us within seven days of your payment and we will refund it in full. That applies to a new plan, a renewal, or extra seats — any payment you make to us.

You do not need to give a reason, fill in a form, or talk to somebody who tries to keep you. One email is enough.

4. After the seven days

Once a week has passed, fees are not refunded for the part of a term that has already run. Plans are sold in advance for a twelve-month term, and that is the basis the price is set on.

The one thing we will always return, at any point, is money that was never properly ours — see the next section.

5. Duplicate and failed payments

If you are charged twice for the same purchase, or money leaves your account for a payment that did not complete, tell us and we will return it in full. This is not subject to the seven-day window and it is not a discretionary refund.

6. Cancelling a subscription

Because nothing renews automatically, cancelling usually just means deciding not to buy again. If you want to stop during a term, an owner can cancel from Account Management. The workspace keeps its paid features until the paid term expires, and no further payment is taken.

Your data is not deleted when a plan ends. The workspace returns to free-plan limits, and data is retained or removed according to the Privacy Policy and your own retention settings.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@happycoders.in from the account email of a workspace owner, with your organisation name and the payment reference or receipt. Receipts can be downloaded from Account Management at any time.

We acknowledge every request within two working days. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method through our payment partner, and usually appears within five to seven working days depending on your bank.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above, and the version in force on the day you paid is the one that applies to that payment.
