The free plan
Free for five people, permanently. No card, no trial clock, and the limits written down rather than discovered later.
Five users. No card. No expiry.
Not a trial that stops after fourteen days, and not one user with everything else
locked. Five people, using the product, for as long as you like.
What you get
- Time tracking against a project, a client and a task, from the
desktop app or a browser.
- Timesheets with a weekly approval flow. An approver locks a
member's week and nobody can approve their own.
- Attendance — first in, last out, and the state of each day, in a
form payroll can use.
- Leave with policies, balances, approvals and a holiday calendar.
- A sprint board with tasks, estimates, comments and attachments.
- Reports on hours, billable against non-billable, per person and
per project, exportable to CSV.
- Invoicing from billable hours, downloaded as PDF.
- Screenshots and activity tracking, optional and controlled by your
administrator — up to one screenshot every ten minutes.
- Desktop apps for macOS, Windows and Ubuntu or Debian Linux.
Where the free plan stops
Said plainly, so nobody discovers it three weeks in:
- Five users. A sixth person needs a paid plan or an extra seat.
- Three projects. Starter raises this to ten; Pro and Business are
unlimited.
- Screenshots kept three days, activity records seven days. After
that they are deleted automatically. Paid plans keep them longer.
- One screenshot per ten minutes at most, at lower image quality.
- No screenshot blur. That needs Starter or above.
- Community support rather than email or priority support.
What is not the catch
Three things people reasonably assume about free software, which are not true here:
- No card is asked for, so nothing starts charging quietly.
- There is no expiry date. The plan does not turn into a trial after a month.
- Your data is not the product. We do not sell it, and everything exports to CSV and
PDF whenever you want it.
When you would need to pay
Three reasons, in the order they usually arrive: a sixth person joins, a fourth
project starts, or you need screenshots kept longer than three days. At that point
Starter is Rs 499 per user per year, which is about Rs 42 a
month per person.
You can also buy extra seats on the plan you are on, prorated, rather than moving up.
What it does not do, on any plan
No project cost or profit reporting. No payroll. No GPS or location tracking. No
mobile app. No third-party integrations yet. No self-hosted build. No hidden or stealth
monitoring — the desktop app always shows that it is recording.
Start
Create a workspace, add your projects, invite up to five people by email. A small team
is usually running in about twenty minutes, and there is nothing to install on a server.
